A journey into the work of DAVIDE BERNARDI
Earth, Air, Water and Fire, are the four elements that I found traveling to Iceland.
The Earth with it’s stretches of lava rocks and the tundra overhanging most of the mountains and plains.
The Air with it’s powerful winds and currents that surrounds the island.
The Water that surrounds everything from the Norwegian Sea, to geysers, glaciers and glacial rivers.
The Fire for its volcanoes, with their magma born from the bowels of the earth.
The magic that can be found on this island is unique. Elves, Fates, and Trolls are an integral part of Icelandic culture and fairy tale seems to go beyond myths and legends.
A place where nature reigns almost uncontaminated and where I could abandon it’s extraordinary beauty.
